Performance Appearance
The XV Flex™ is built to mimic the Extreme Flex™ shoulder pads in every manner, but at a more economical price point. The XV looks like the Extreme Flex™ and features many of the same performance features and benefits.
High Impact Foam
High Impact, closed cell EVA foam is at the center of the XV Flex™ protection system. Ventilated with 5mm vapor holes, the EVA foam maxes out protection in the XV but also helps circulate air around your body, keeping you cooler and drier.
Raised Corrugations
Raised corrugations in the design make the pad stronger while 5mm holes in both the arch and throughout the pad aid in circulating air keeping you cooler.
Interior Cushioning
EVA sheet foam forms the core of protection for the Armor Flex™. Covered on the outside by a breathable fabric for maximum air flow, the EVA foam is a ballistic breathable foam that features 5mm vent holes to maximize air circulation. The foam is pliable, so it wraps around your body in a cocoon-like, perfect fit.
AEGIS Anti-Microbial
Exclusive to Schutt, AEGIS® takes anti-microbial agents to the next level. Working 24/7, this rugged germ-fighting agent uses negatively charged anti-microbial particles to fight against an array of bacteria, fungus, germs, and mold. AEGIS® is so effective, it’s registered with the EPA.
